 | Sunday, June 21, 2015 Read: Psalm 27:1-6; Matthew 6:25-34 his psalm of trust shows the faithfulness of the psalmist in a God who has proven to be faithful. Because of the faithful mercies of God, the psalmist can be brave, knowing that God will ultimately protect him from lasting harm. This is not to say that the promise is deliverance from enemies, but deliverance despite enemies. Even if enemies and war rise, the psalmist can remain in the presence of God. |
