Weekly Interfaith Food Pantry

All Are Welcome!

Free bags of groceries are provided to low-income families and individuals in Petaluma, through Petaluma Interfaith Pantry, which operates every Thursday evening at 5:00 p.m. No paperwork needed. We serve all in need.
  • Thursday Evening Interfaith Pantry: opens at 5:00pm at Elim Lutheran Church, 220 Stanley Street.  Enter in the parking lot, go through the walkway near the preschool playground and exit on Baker Street. For more information, please call 762-4081.
  • If you would like to be part of the team of volunteers that help, please contact the church office to get on the reminder list. Or just show up at 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays. 
  • Paper bags and egg cartons are often needed.  Donations can be dropped off at the church office at 504 Baker Street.

Here's the schedule on Thursdays
  • Set-up:  4:30—5:00 p.m.
  • Distribution:  5:00—5:30 p.m.
  • Clean-up:  5:30—6:00 p.m.

Did you know? We buy our food from the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Here are some facts:
  • Last year, Redwood Empire Food Bank and partners provided food for a total of 24 million meals, with a retail value of over $59 million, to neighbors struggling with hunger.
  • The Petaluma Westside Food Pantry is part of the Redwood Empire Food Bank Network of 150 non-profit and faith-based organizations.

Friendship Line California: 1-888-670-1360 is toll-free and available to provide emotional support to older Californians facing loneliness, isolation and anxiety. 

Petaluma People Services Center provides a range of services to seniors in Sonoma County and can be reached at www.petalumapeople.org. They also offer a You Are Not Alone warmline at 707-765-8488, which provides peer support to seniors in need.
