Is there anything in this world or the world beyond that can overturn such a ruling? Is there anything that can condemn humanity if God has already forgiven it? No, of course. In those times when it seems as though a greater evil is at work in our lives, we have the gift of God’s Holy Spirit to remind us that there is something greater than suffering – salvation through God’s love – and it is ours because of the saving work of Jesus Christ. |
