| I don't know about you, but I get down. I sometimes feel tired and frustrated from month after month of sheltering in place - of not being able to go over to a friend's house, or walk into a store, or worrying about whether our son will be able to return to Pacific Lutheran University next month for his senior year. I read in the newspapers or see on the news about so many people who are struggling with lack of employment, housing insecurity or being ill with COVID. And I worry about our members who are going through some medical issues, some uncertainty and pain. My husband, Pr. Thomas Gable, passed this song along to me. It changed my attitude. It brought some beauty and grace into my spirit. As the singer sings, "Everyday may not be good, but there is good in every day." I hope you find God's grace for you in this song. And I hope you know that I keep all of you in my prayers - everyday. God's Peace, Pastor Kathryn |
