ELIM'S TRANSITION TEAM

Greetings from your Elim Transition Team It’s hard to believe that nearly ten months have gone by since the Transition Team formed in the spring of 2021. With Elim’s participation and support, much work has been accomplished, including the convening of a dozen small group meetings during the summer and fall of 2021. During January and February 2022, the Transition Team has been immersed in writing the Ministry Site Profile (MSP). Around the beginning of March, the Ministry Site Profile will be made available to anyone who is interested in reading through it. The MSP will be passed from the transition team to the Call Committee for use by the synod during the calling of Elim’s permanent pastor. The Transition Team invites everyone to please continue to pray regularly for God’s guidance and wisdom during the call process ahead – a time that is truly important for the future of Elim’s ministry. It’s been my honor to serve as chair of the Elim Transition Team. I can’t imagine a more dedicated group to have shepherded Elim to this point in the pastoral call process. This talented team bonded and planned together to carry out its tasks of gathering comprehensive participant input for inclusion in the MSP. A tremendous thank you to Laine Gen, Pastor Kathryn Gulbranson, Rosemary Hart, Andy Hohenner, Peter Labberton, and Kathy Matt. It’s been a pleasure - and so much fun - to work together with each of you in the transition process. Thanks so much for the gift of your time, ideas, and leadership over the past ten months.
