Be sure to mark Saturday, October 13 on your calendar in big letters. You don’t want to miss this event because it only happens every two years.
Weekly Craft Sessions
Every Saturday 10:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m.
Join the craft group any or every Saturday for a time to craft, eat and talk!
Are you a Sewer or an Embroiderer? --your help is needed. We will have a basket on the table in the Welcome Area at church for you to see what needs your special touch. Or look through your “not-quite-finished-projects” shelf/box (hey, I know you have one of those, just like the rest of us) and see what you can finish (Yeah!) and donate to the bazaar. The money we raise goes to so many great local and international charities as well as for special projects around Elim.
Prefer canning? Talk to Robin Butts who is organizing the canning department this year.
Are plants your thing? Starts are always welcome—please get them going now, so they are thriving by October.
Love making crafts, but need ideas? Talk to Amy York.
Best are items that will sell for between $3.00 and $12.00. Remember, people are already looking for Christmas gifts in mid-October and want to find something special at a fair price.
We’ll also need many workers to set up the Bazaar on Friday, October 12 and to do many things at the Bazaar. Sign up sheets will be posted in September.
Other ideas? Talk to Andrea Nortz with questions or suggestions.
Bazaar Silent Auction Chair: Becky Wyrick
I’m looking for some great items for the Bazaar's Silent Auction. Handcrafted wood pieces are a big hit, services for places like a local spa or car detailing. Fandango movie gift cards for a movie-themed basket, Safeway, and Trader Joes gift cards for a food basket. Would anyone be willing to make one or more American Girl doll outfits which are 18” doll outfits? Let me know if you would have something to contribute.
