First, on Saturday, Petaluma Citizen of the Year, Pastor Tim, will be riding in a convertible in the Butter and Egg Day Parade that starts at noon. Be sure to wave at him and take a photo or two!
Then, later that day, we are having a Retirement Party for Pastor Tim at the Petaluma Community Center. Sorry, but it's too late to make reservations for the dinner, but you can still attend the program that will start at 7:30pm or so. (If you are coming to the program only, please call the office so we can add you to the guest list.)
Finally, Pastor Tim has chosen a lot of music (and I really mean a lot!) for our three worship services on Sunday, April 27. Services are at the usual times: 8:00am, 9:10am and 11:15am. Yes, he will be preaching and yes, I know there will be tears, and laughter plus wonderful music from all of our music groups. And at 10:15am or so we will have The Kellgren Hour (instead of Coffee Hour, but there will still be coffee, of course) with chocolate chip cookies and a special presentation to Pastor Tim from the Sunday School children. You'll be able to see photos and other memorabilia, talk to Pastor Tim and visit with many members, guests and maybe a few people you haven't seen for awhile? (Feel free to bring some delicious chocolate chip cookies to share but keep the raisins out!)
