Today's lesson can reviewed at home as follows:
Look at all of these crosses. Do you see the differences between them? I wonder what the differences mean? I wonder if there is a story behind each cross? I wonder what those stories might be? The cross has a lot to do with the Mystery of Easter.
Did you make a cross in your Godly Play classroom? What can you tell me about the cross you made?
What crosses do we have hear at home? Shall we look for them together? Why don't we see how many we can find?
I wonder which cross you like best?
I wonder which is the most important cross?
I wonder which cross is especially for you?
Remember. This is not a time to quiz children on what they may or may not recall about the lesson. Rather, it is an opportunity to be quietly present as the children share their own experience.
SPECIAL THANKS TO ELIM MEMBER AL BUTLER FOR HANDCRAFTING AND DONATING THE CROSSES FOR THIS LESSON.
Next week's lesson will be on the Mystery of Easter.
There will be no class on April 13 through April 27 in order for the children to participate in Easter activities and a special farewell to Pastor Tim.
